Synopsis
It sometimes happens, even in America, that the children in a divorce get left behind by both parents. Usually, another relative takes them in, or a relief agency takes care of them. In this Vietnamese story, a thirteen-year old boy (Tuan Dung) is in this situation, but must fend for himself. Remarkably, he succeeds in doing so, and succeeds in continuing with his schooling. However, when he is eventually old enough to consider dating, he is prevented from courting a girl he likes by her family, because he "doesn't come from a good family."
