Synopsis:
The love story of two mentally retarded youths searching for the meaning of life. In some parallel universe that looks Scandinavian but sounds Scottish, Jed and Chloe, two simple young people, work in a warehouse and enjoy innocent pleasures. Apart from Jed, the most important thing in Chloe's life is her beloved cat. One night, just as Jed proposes matrimony, the cat escapes, leaving her inconsolable. Jed decides to undertake a search for the meaning of life in hopes of restoring Chloe's smile. His quest brings him to Max, a strange tramp who lives in the city dump and has problems of his own.
