Synopsis:
Centers on football star-turned-actor Erik Aude, who was framed for smuggling opium and initially sentenced to death in Pakistan, and focuses on Aude's road to self-discovery, including the survival skills he honed in prison alongside international criminals and terrorists from groups such as Al Qaeda and the Taliban. He was jailed in February, 2002, and served almost three years of a seven-year sentence before his sentence was reduced and he was released. A civil trial in the U.S. recently reached a verdict in Aude's favor against the man who had set him up as a drug mule.
