Synopsis:
Krishna Kurup, in his mid seventies, and Ammalukutty, in her mid sixties, have grown old together on their little farm. They are content with their simple life. Their grown up children are worried that they are too old and need looking after and plan to move them to their urban homes. But, happy together, the parents resist and through their story we understand how they have developed a perfect partnership - she has learned to understand him and he has helped her become strong for both of them. Finally, when Krishna passes on, Ammalukutty overcomes her grief and carries on living the way she always has, confident in the knowledge that her husband's spirit will continue to care for her.
