Synopsis

Inspired by real life events and filmed in one extended, uninterrupted take, the feature debut from Greek-born filmmaker Spiros Statholulopoulos tells the tense tale of a Columbian farmer, wife, and mother who falls victim to a bizarre act of terrorism. When kidnappers demand that Elvira pay a ransom of $7000 and she fails to raise the money in time, the woman is turned into a human time bomb and forced to endure an excruciating waiting game from which there appears to be no escape.
