Synopsis:
A visual journal of filmmaker Michael Almereyda's own travels that reflects on the nature of creativity. Visiting a number of different cities, we are introduced to Almereyda's acquaintances, friends, children of friends and total strangers as they do everyday tasks such as flying planes, watching birds, performing music, conducting funeral services and so on. Some of the people included are marginal and eccentric, while others are performers like Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth and Elina Lowensohn who are associated with Almereyda's previous work. Towards the end, we finally observe the director Almereyda himself at his everyday job of making films.
