Synopsis:
High school sophomore Dale Spitler is a classic "drama geek." He's playing the lead in the school play "Our Town," but is still despised by most of his peers. For him, beyond the theatre, there stands one true hero, one young god of his dreams- Raymond Haver, captain of the wrestling team. Dale is fixated with romantic fantasies of being swept off his feet by this studly all-star. Of course, Raymond doesn't even know he exists. When Dale's best gal pal Violet causes a car accident that results in the freak explosion of another vehicle, she panics and flees the scene. As there are no witnesses, she runs to Dale for help and consolation. Dale has more than his hands full baby-sitting the precocious Dustine, a wise-cracking seven year-old who lives in a white-trash trailer park. Nonetheless, he and Violet return to the scene of her crime to investigate, with Dustine in tow.

Through the smoke and broken glass, Dale discovers to his tragic shock, the still smoldering body of the formerly flawless Raymond Haver! Violet examines the body for signs of life, but finds no pulse. Dale recognizes a magical opportunity. He quickly convinces Violet that it's imperative they take Raymond's body back to the trailer to scrub off any incriminating fingerprints. She takes the bait and the trio loads the sexy stiff into the trunk. Amid the comforting shag carpet and veneer paneling of the trailer, an ecstatic Dale begins to fulfill his every dream with the still strikingly handsome Raymond. But the delirious if one sided honeymoon is short lived as a series of close calls with the police, Raymonds parents, and Dustine's drunken, sexpot mother push the culprits into a final decision that leaves everyone speechless.
