Synopsis:

The Maldonados are a Puerto Rican family diligently working towards their American dream in their owned and operated bodega on 116th street and Pleasant Avenue. Their hours are endless, but ownership is about pride, down to the sweep of the stoop and the dusting of cans. As a working class family, they share their humor, dreams, love and conflict all within the confines of the Bodega.
