Synopsis
As Western influences make their way through Eastern Europe, three losers decide to bring to Slovenia that most American of innovations, the pornographic movie, in this low-key comedy. Charlie (Matjaz Latin), John (Primoz Petkovsek, and Frank (Zoran More) are a trio of would-be artists working as window dressers who decide it's time their native Slovenia had adult films of its own -- and that they're just the guys to make them. Charlie appoints himself director and screenwriter, eager to make sure every sound and action is as it should be; John, who lives near a brothel, is put in charge of rounding up the female talent; and Frank casts himself as the leading man. But Charlie soon becomes infatuated with their female star, Kalinka (Natalya Danilova), which makes him less than enthusiastic about staging scenes with her, and Buddy (Roberto Magnifico), a local troublemaker, tries to break up the filming with a gang of his friends. Actor Roberto Magnifico is also a well-known pop musician in his native Ljubljana.
