Synopsis:
When 80,000 railroad jobs are cut to 20,000, employees are offered severance pay only if they resign from the state company. Amid fierce discussion, the men ask themselves whether it's possible to fight for change. These good but desperate men try to find their way out of the devastating maze of unemployment and rebuild their lives in a reality that pushes them towards their bitter fate. Meanwhile, their teenage children, observing their fathers’ difficulties, decide to take things into their own hands with a highly risky optimism bringing them together in a night that will mark them forever.
