A man at a crossroads in life finds love (or something like it) with a teenage girl in this independent comedy-drama from Taiwan. Wan, a former medical school student who is not sure what he wants to do with his future, one day meets Meow-Meow, a strikingly sexy 18-year-old girl who likes to tease men by telling them she's bisexual. Meow-Meow begins to dominate Wan's thoughts (to the chagrin of his girlfriend), and one hour before the clock is to ring in his 30th birthday, Wan decides to take the plunge and show Meow-Meow just how much he thinks of her. Qi Maoqiu Le was shown in competition at South Korea's 2000 Pusan Film Festival.
