A pair of star-crossed marine mammals from rival families fall deeply in love despite the disapproval of their warring parents in director Phil Nibbelink's animated, kid-friendly take on the William Shakespeare classic. Juliet's father has promised his daughter to the brutish elephant seal Prince, and now in order to be with her beloved Romeo the saddened seal must fake her own demise. As Juliet's daring plan hits an unexpected snag and her friends Friar Lawrence and Kissy race to her rescue, the endangered seal must summon the power of love if she is ever to find true happiness.
