A small broadcasting station out in the boondocks is strapped for funds and if not resuscitated soon, will permanently fold. To perk up their earnings, the heads of the station first try a strip tease -- which gets them a suspended license instead. Then they turn toward a wealthy businessman for a financial bail-out -- only to be thwarted when he is kidnapped -- but not thwarted for long. They manage to get a cameraman kidnapped as well, and the enterprising cameraman captures the captive in full color, for the country's biggest scoop of the season. Will this save the station -- or are some aspects of their sensational treatment of a kidnapping putting them at greater risk?
