Synopsis:
A comedy that looks at the life of Daisy, a young factory worker who is mocked and ridiculed because she is fat. Daisy is adored by her new husband Ken, who worships his wife just the way she is. So much so that when he finds himself unemployed, he is sure he can make a living selling his nude photographs of her as postcards. Daisy is uncomfortable with the plan and decides she is the one who has to go out and earn money... little does she know that her new job at a canning factory will soon lead to a career as a Sumo wrestler and will give her a whole new outlook on life. Nicknamed "Great White Jellyfish", Daisy joins the ranks amongst a group of buxom factory women who have been meeting secretly after work each day to train in the ancient and graceful Japanese martial art of Sumo wrestling—both a sport of the mind and a philosophy for life. Although not usually practiced by females, Sumo is just the thing to give these women of large physical stature a new sense of self-respect, confidence and dignity. As Daisy gets more involved in her new secret activity, Ken becomes deeply worried about her behavior and goes on mission to uncover the mystery behind her new attitude.
