The outfit has signed on to head the Reading Festival and its sister fest, both in England, in a big end-of-summer musical event starting today. But the pouty outfit, led by the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, has been known to walk offstage before finishing their set. Earlier this summer, they cut their performance short after being pelted with bottles, cans and rocks in two other European shows. About 300,000 are expected to attend the two festivals, which will also include performances by Pulp, Primal Scream, Elastica, Foo Fighters, Super Furry Animals, Beck and Blink 182.

A Cedars-Sinai spokesperson was unavailable for comment early this morning. Stateside supermarket tabloids said Perry's stomach troubles stemmed from a crash diet. Now the Sun offers its verdict: Liver failure. The paper -- which contains no quotes or comments from either Perry's camp or doctors -- said the reason for the failure was a "mystery," although it did make a point to dredge up Perry's past addiction to prescription painkillers. Perry and his five "Friends" co-stars recently inked a $240 million deal to remain with the hit NBC sitcom another two years. Perry a
