Adventure beckons a young lad and an old sailor in a retirement home to an adventure at sea. They take off in a small private sailing boat and soon find themselves stranded in the Baltic Sea on an uninhabited island. Not long afterwards, a couple escaping from the Iron Curtain land on their isle, and the foursome avoid a Soviet patrol boat to make their way back to Denmark.
