Synopsis:
In turn of the century rural America, Jay Berry Lee dreams of making enough summer money to buy a pony. His hard-working farming father is not rich, and the family has several children, including the crippled Daisy. He sees his chance when some monkeys escape the circus and an award is posted for their return. Jay finds the animals, but catching them proves to be a challenge that teaches him a few life lessons.
