Synopsis

In this unpretentious romantic comedy, Betty (Cheryl Clifford) and Arnold (Peter Welch), two extremely shy people, meet over the phone, gradually develop a rich phone relationship, and move on to know one another face-to-face. Betty is an attractive, thirtysomething spinster. Arnold is recovering from a bad relationship. Beginning with short conversations on the phone, Betty and Arnold get to the point where Arnold begins "talking dirty" to Betty. Betty finds this terribly arousing. Unfortunately, she cannot handle her newfound passion and becomes so bashful that the relationship almost ends there.
