Synopsis:
Cable Hogue is left to die in the dessert. After days of wandering the dunes he collapses from dehydration and heat-exhastion. He notices some mud on his boot however and manages to uncover a mudhole turn it into a life-saving puddle. Eventually he sets up rest stop here and sells water and provisions to travellers and prospers. He takes in a young woman into his dessert home named Hildy who was expelled from Gila for lowering the morals of the town.
