Synopsis:

The year is 2015. Gillian Tanner is a successful romance novelist whose own lovelife has hit the skids. To escape her past, she packs up her lap-top and heads for a secluded cabin to begin work on her new novel. But first, a concerned friend convinces her to purchase the latest in personal security: an android. Visting a showroom, she chooses "Geoffrey" from the "G-45 Companion Series." Once at the cabin, Gillian begins experimenting with Geoffrey's programming. Excited by his capabilities, she configures him into a fantasy partner, complete with passion and intrigue. But when their ideal relationship takes a disturbing turn, Gillian realizes the wires of machinery and human emotion have become dangerously fused.
