French actor Gerard Depardieu, who will be filming the movie I Am Dina in northern Norway, is receiving criticism from Norway's agricultural community; they fear he could spread the dreaded foot-and-mouth disease that is crippling livestock in France and Britain. Depardieu, 52, will be flying frequently from France to Norway while the film is in production, and Norwegian farmers are demanding he be disinfected before entering the Scandinavian country. To date, Norway has been relatively unaffected by the outbreak. Depardieu shouldn't feel too bad about the demand: the set of Dina itself is being boycotted by the farmers. One such farmer tells Reuters that any local extra in the film will be banned from coming into contact with Norwegian livestock. No word yet on
