Synopsis:
Story of the friendship between Oxford English Dictionary founder James Murray and the institutionalized paranoid schizophrenic William Minor, who supplied Murray with numerous obscure words for his lexicon. Imprisoned for the first murder by gunfire in London, Minor was given a life sentence that, after Murray's appeals, was eventually commuted by Winston Churchill.
