The fourth episode in the slapstick Japanese fantasy series The Slayers follows the animated adventures of the bandit-hunting wizard Lina Inverse and her loyal companion, the dim-witted swordsman Gourry. A mysterious wizard named Zelgadis continues his pursuit of Lina, who possesses a piece of a dark, powerful god who was destroyed and scattered about the earth in pieces. As forces conspire against the heroic pair, things are complicated when Lina realizes that she has lost the use of her magical powers.
