Synopsis:
A New York lawyer returns to his hometown down in the Deep South investigate the missing funds of an old friend, now blind. Along, the way he rekindles a romance with a childhood sweetheart and discovers the missing funds are being paid to a hush a black woman, who turns out to be his friend's real mother.
