Synopsis:
In Iraq there is a saying: There are 20 million Iraqis, and there are also 20 million portraits of Saddam Hussein. This is a biting look at the dictator who hijacked Iraq through violence, and sustains his power through a cult of personality that sees him and his many palaces on the front page of every newspaper. The film contains never-before-seen footage of the Iraqi president and all-present leader, plus exclusive interviews with Saddam's inner circle. We're allowed a glimpse into Saddam's odd personal life, and we see him in a more intimate way that ever before. Yet the film also reveals Saddam for the power-hungry, bloodthirsty murderer that he is, detailing the revenge and betrayal among his closest advisors, virtually all of whom are the leader's relatives.
