Synopsis:

Celebrating the life of Jim and Ellie Newton, a Florida couple whose chance introduction to Thomas Edison in the early part of the century led to close friendships with some of the most important and controversial figures of the past 100 years, including Henry Ford, Harvey Firestone,a nd Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh. Rare footage lends insight into the growth of America from the last turn-of-the-century to the upcoming new millennium.
