Synopsis:
Marie and David are a childless couple who constantly quarrel. Sara and Samuel are childless as well but get along with each other. When conflict does come along, Samuel buries himself in jigsaw puzzles and Sara throws herself into her work. The story follows both couples for several months, and ends with the four going to a snowy cottage to celebrate Christmas, with disastrous results.
