Synopsis:
Lizzie lives with her single mother Kate in a tenement on the wrong side of the tracks in Glasgow. She has recently almost been killed in a drugged out joyriding incident, and the fragile family is also being harassed by debt-collectors. Things take an even more disturbing turn though when Lizzie starts hearing things, and sees the furniture move all on its own. The police and social workers don't believe her, but a tabloid journalist takes up the case. He doesn't belive Lizzie either, but thinks it will make excellent copy. Gradually, though, he becomes convinced that Lizzie is telling the truth, and strange things are afoot in the apartment.
