Psychotherapist Dr. Ian Lazarre becomes dangerously depressed after his beloved first wife is killed in a car wreck. Though he has since married a woman who looks exactly like her, he is still unhappy and drinking heavily. Wanting to help him, his new wife and his best friend send him to a special rehab clinic. Unfortunately, this proves to be a terrible mistake for the clinic is run by a mad man looking for helpless subjects on which to test his latest experimental drug.
