Synopsis:
Soledad is a taxi driver in Buenos Aires, but is tired of her job. She steals a taxicab and drives to a remote Patagonian village. There she finds a community so isolated that its only contact with the world is through cinema. Its films, however, arrive in terrible condition, with reels out of order, upside down and out of synch. As a result, the people are also a little out of kilter, speaking in non-sequiturs. As Soledad falls for the local film reviewer, she gets used to the narrative anarchy of the village.
