Sanjay Gupta's thriller Zinda offers a variation on the popular South Korean movie Old Boy. The film stars Sanjay Dutt as a software engineer named Balajit Roy whose life is turned upside down when he is kidnapped and held for over a decade by men who intend to frame him for the murder of his wife. During his incarceration he develops a talent for martial arts. One day he is released and, with the help of a cab driver (Lara Dutta), begins to seek out answers as well as justice.
