Synopsis
Influential Iranian writer Farough Farroukhzad (1935-1967), first achieved notoriety as a 17-year-old with "The Captive", her book of explicit love poetry. Through the years, Farroukhzad made a name for herself as an actress, painter and filmmaker. But it was her frank, erotic poetry that made her stand out most as a woman artist living in Iran.
