Farley, a small-time crook, focuses his efforts on lifting car stereos that he sells at a downtown pawn shop. He also steals photos from each of his victims to add to a group of snapshots tacked to the wall in his apartment. These photographs, a surrogate family of sorts, provide glimpses of opportunity, frozen before the potential could be snuffed out. When Farley crosses paths with Alison, he finds himself presented with the ultimate score--a chance to intercept a high-stakes drug deal by exploiting its weakest link, the middleman. If he succeeds, his own days as a middleman will finally come to an end.
