Teenager Ah Chung believes that he was born unlucky. Living at home in Taipei with his slightly retarded brother, his troubled and traumatized step-sister, his senile grandfather and his hard-working but overwhelmed mother, his life bears this out. This tragic drama presents snippets from Ah Chung's difficult life as he tries to find himself, stay out of trouble and take care of his family.
