Synopsis
A lonely, old pawnbroker tries to hide his memories of the Holocaust by avoiding any intimate involvement with people and focusing his energies on making money with his shop. Soon, however, a Harlem gangster arm-twists him into turning his store into a laundering front for stolen merchandise.
