Synopsis
As a foot soldier preparing for D-Day, G.I. Ernie Williams is caught imitating an English general. In order to confuse the Nazis, he is instructed to continue the ruse. When the staff is hoodwinked into thinking he is the general, things get tricky. He even convinces the general's wife, but when the real general is killed in battle, problems arise.
