Jacqueline, a beautiful con-woman, preys on wealthy older men. She chooses Benjamin Alcott as her next victim, but when she discovers that he is worth millions, she devises a more elaborate con by working her way into his heart and getting him to propose. Not surprisingly, Candice, Benjamin's step-daughter, clashes with Jacqueline and is suspicious of her intentions. Then Benjamin suddenly dies, just days before the wedding, and Jacqueline quickly flees. Candice later discovers that Jacqueline had embezzled $250,000 from her father's charitable foundation. She enlists the help of Steve Ganse, her streetwise boyfriend, and later Henry Maxwell a seasoned con-man that mentored Steve. Together they set up a plan to con Jaqueline. However, greed overwhelms them all, but they must find enough trust in each other to pull off their plan.
