Zac Sterling is a college student in the early 1950s who is eager to join a fraternity, even though his girlfriend Jennifer thinks the Greek system is elitist and discriminatory. During the hazing portion of their initiations, Zac joins with some other pledges in rebelling against the cruel practices, which only makes their treatment worse. Finally, one of the pranks g s too far and a boy is killed.
