Synopsis
A romance between stage comedienne Joan Mason and back-bay Bostonite Jack Williams is staunchly opposed by Jack's spinsterish sister Clarabelle. Meanwhile, the relationship between British socialite Jill Martin and Tony McGrath - the assistant to Broadway impresario George White, goes from hot to cold and then back to hot again.
