Synopsis
A portrait of Japanese contemporary artist Makoto Aida whose provocative, perverted and political large-scale painting -- one a mountain made entirely of dead businessmen, another a waterfall surrounded by carbon copy schoolgirls -- occupy all of his attention. Makoto endlessly tweaks his latest masterpieces in a Beijing studio, that is, when he is not procrastinating by smoking, drinking or spending time with his wife and son. As we observe his artistic process, we also get a look at his rather eccentric views on family life and his role as a parent.
