Alec, a courageous but impetuous knight, is summoned back to his home village by his brother Francis when their father falls ill. Upon his arrival he is warned of a horrific winged creature, which feasts on the flesh of man. Initially dismissing the story as a myth, Alec is shocked when the beast appears, terrorizing the villagers and carrying them off to its lair. Now, Alec and Francis must assemble an unlikely army to hunt down the creature and restore peace to the land.
