The story of the Supreme Court's ruling of <i>Brown</i> v. <i>Board of Education</i> in 1954 is adapted for film with this Universal Pictures production. Tobey Maguire stars as Jack Greenberg, a young lawyer who joins forces with future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and the NAACP to fight racial segregation within the American school system. Gary Ross (Seabiscuit) directs from a script by Danny Strong (Recount).
