Synopsis
Marilyn Cooper is one of THOSE moms--the kind that calls at 6:30 in the morning, the kind that pops over unannounced for a "visit," and one night, the kind that shows up at her son Noah's apartment, crying, with her bags and five foster dogs in tow. Convinced her husband is having an affair, she's decided to take a break. When Noah's wife Claire invites her in, she accepts--and stays. And stays. And stays. Noah's already having a rough week--he's lost his job, found an unwelcome houseguest on his couch, and is having doubts about his ability to be a father despite pressure from his wife to start a family. Now, with a mother who he's always kept at a distance just a room away, he frantically seeks escape--but finds Marilyn around every corner.
