Synopsis
Marilyn Monroe died on August 5, 1962, at the age of 37. Over 50 years after her death, no one really understands the woman behind the icon. In this film, actors such as Paul Giamatti, Glenn Close, Elizabeth Banks and Uma Thurman read aloud her handwritten notes, letters, poems and diary entries, all intended to cast the legendary actress in a new light.
