Toni and Vito get along as well as could be expected in the circumstances. They are brothers-in-law, but apart from Toni's sister, who is Vito's wife, they have absolutely nothing in common. Toni, who runs a small business and is away much of the time, is a garrulous and well-worn forty-something. As for Vito, he leads a quiet and uneventful life--until he goes to the christening of Toni's son. On that particular day, Toni's new car is stolen. With the christening now ruined, Vito suggests the two of them set off in search of the thieves.
