Synopsis
This Super 8 documentary of the punk rock scene was filmed in London in 1977. Most of the footage was shot at the Roxy, a club that for a short time hosted every punk band of note in the area. Featured performers include successful groups like the Sex Pistols, Siouxsie & the Banshees, and the Clash, as well as lesser-known groups of merit like the Heartbreakers, X-Ray Spex, and Eater. The film also includes touring footage, backstage antics, and scenes of drug usage and self-abuse.
