Documentary filmmaker Ivy Vaughn follows the exploits of Caleb Solar and his motley band of followers who are a hapless doomsday cult awaiting Quellish, or the end of the world. Helpless and incompetent, the group initially can't do anything without the aid of Kenneth Thith, Caleb's second-in-command. When Kenneth faints from exhaustion, the others must learn to fend for themselves and carry out the tasks set forth by their leader as they await doomsday. As the countdown to Quellish transpires in the rural town of Endsville, Ivy interviews the locals and tracks the group as the practice some bizarre rituals, including a goat sacrifice, prayer sessions, and the building of an ark.
