Warren and Clark meet when Clark baits Warren on stage in a crowded comedy club. Their improvised banter is a hit, and Warren becomes convinced that they will be the biggest comedy act of all time. There is only one slight problem: they are not that good, and as a result, cannot land a gig. As their efforts to get noticed become increasingly desperate, their friendship transforms into bitter rivalry. However, in the cut-throat world of stand-up comedy, Warren and Clark must find a way to stick it out together if they are to have any chance of making it huge.
