Synopsis
This film shows how common people trapped in uncommon situations become survivors instead of victims. These are people from America, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Israel and Palestine who have survived bombings, torture, close encounters with death and the loss of relatives and friends. They have survived extreme crises with only their inner power and faith. War psychologists, spiritual leaders and missionaries explore the questions: Did these people know that they had some unique power? Or did extreme times force them to reach out to a higher power?
