Synopsis
Filmmaker John Milius is an influential storyteller of his generation who co-wrote many iconic films such as "Apocalypse Now," "Jaws," and "Conan the Barbarian." A larger than life personality, Milius speaks with zero filter which at times can be as unpopular as it is celebrated. Here, we follow Milius from his childhood aspirations to join the military to his formative years at the USC Film School, his work on legendary films to his ultimate dismissal from Hollywood due to his radical beliefs and controversial behavior.
